The Pottery Cafe

Fulham, London, London · SW6 5SA

IndoorOften booked for girls4-6 · 7-9 · 10-12 · 13+

A pottery party is the antidote to a sports-hall echo. Children paint, the studio fires the pots later, and nobody has to referee a bouncy castle. Guest lists that lean towards girls book this constantly, which is why it is tagged that way — boys who like making things are just as suited, and you should ignore the tag if your child would rather glaze than bowl. It is indoor, seated and brilliant for mixed confidence levels. It is hopeless if the birthday child wanted to sprint.

Studio parties are priced per painter — see the parties page

Parking

Fulham street parking is the tax on this party. Say so on the invitation, suggest the bus or a drop-off, and do not promise a free car park you have not seen.

Food and drink for the adults

Studios are compact. Agree a cap on adults before every parent assumes they get a chair and a latte. Ask whether adult drinks are sold or whether you are heading to a café afterwards.

Good to know

Pots are collected days later, not taken home wet. Tell guests that, or you will spend the evening explaining a bag of damp clay that does not exist. Minimum ages and maximum group sizes are on the party page. Other branches exist — this pin is Fulham.
