Who we are
The publisher of this website is Upcott Studios. The site is upcottstudios.com. For privacy questions, email [email protected].
PartyHop is written for parents and carers planning a children's birthday. You do not create an account, and we do not ask for your name, address, or the children's names.
Visit count
The home page shows a simple visit number. The first time you open PartyHop in a browser session, we add one to a single counter stored on our server. That counter is one number for the whole site. It is not a record of you: we do not store your name, email, IP address, or a list of pages you opened alongside that count.
Your browser keeps a short-lived flag in session storage so the same tab is not counted again until you close it. That flag stays on your device. We never receive it.
Saved on your device
The checklist on the party guide is stored in your browser's local storage, so the ticks are still there if you come back on the same device. We do not receive that list. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
PartyHop does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run a tracker that follows you around the web.
Hosting
Like most websites, the service that hosts PartyHop may keep short technical logs — for example an IP address, browser type, and the address of the page requested — so the site can be served and kept secure. We do not use those logs to build a profile of visitors, and we do not sell them.
Amazon links
Some links on the party bags page go to Amazon.co.uk. They are affiliate links (tag stewartferris-21). If you buy something, Amazon may tell us that a sale came from PartyHop. We do not receive your Amazon account, payment details, or what else is in your basket. Amazon's own privacy notice applies once you leave this site.
Sharing and other sites
Share buttons open Facebook, X, WhatsApp, Pinterest, or your email app, and only if you choose them. Copying the link does not send the address anywhere except your clipboard. Venue pages and companion sites are other people's websites. Their privacy notices apply there, not this one.
Children
PartyHop is for adults planning a party. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
The visit counter is a running total and stays for as long as the site does. We do not keep a file of individual visits. Anything saved in your browser stays until you clear it. If you email us, we keep that correspondence for as long as we need it to answer you, and then delete it.
Your rights
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you can ask for a copy of personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Because PartyHop does not keep an account for you, the honest answer is usually that we have no file to send. You can still ask.
You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk if you are unhappy with how we handle a request. Please write to us first so we can try to put it right.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after that date means the new page applies.
