Welsh Mountain Zoo

Colwyn Bay, Conwy · LL28 5UY

The Welsh Mountain Zoo sits on the hill above Colwyn Bay, which is both the view and the warning. Birthday bookings are a real product on their site. It is a good North Wales party for primary age. The walk from the car park to the animals is not flat, and a wet day is a proper Welsh wet day.

Parking

Zoo car park on the hill. LL28 5UY. The coast road is not the destination.

Food and drink for the adults

Café on site for adults. The party package feeds the children. Coats for the grown-ups who will be outside between the room and the animals.

Good to know

Ask where the cake goes and whether the party includes zoo entry for the afternoon or only the slot. The hill makes buggies work harder than the photos suggest.
