Chester is the zoo party people mean when they say they want animals and a proper room, not a picnic on a wall. The published package puts the group in a private space with food, a host and a ranger-led tour, and guests can use the rest of the day either side of that slot. It works from early primary through about eleven. Toddlers will do the islands and be done; teenagers want a different park.

Huge on-site car parks off Caughall Road. Put CH2 1LH on the invitation and the party arrival time, not just 'the zoo'. Saturday entry queues are the bit that makes people late.
Food and drink for the adults
The package includes a small number of adults; extra grown-ups are an add-on. Cafés are all over the zoo, so parents who are not on the party meal can still eat. Do not assume the party room seats every uncle.
Good to know
Dietary extras have to be confirmed days ahead, not at the gate. Maximum numbers are real. Tell the events team about a buggy or a wheelchair when you book the tour, not when the ranger is already walking.
