Thinktank's children's party is MiniBrum: a host, play in the mini city, then a short exclusive sit-down for a simple meal. It is aimed at about three to eight, recently £15 a child with one adult free. The room caps the whole group, adults included. It is the indoor Birmingham answer when a trampoline park is too much and a church hall is too little. Older juniors will be done with the mini city before the adults finish tea.

Food and drink for the adults
One adult per child is free. Extra adults have been a few pounds, and you can add a sandwich platter. The children's meal is a sandwich, fruit, crisps and squash — tell parents who were imagining pizza.
Good to know
Slots are specific: weekday afternoons and weekend mornings or afternoons. Under-threes can come free and do not get a meal. Party-bag fillers are optional and Thinktank-branded.
