London Zoo will host a children's party, not just sell you day tickets and hope. Packages at the Terrace have started around £25 a child plus VAT, on top of admission, with a minimum around a dozen. Larger rooms exist if you have hired half the class. It is a mixed site: animals outside, tea inside. It suits roughly four to eleven. Teens will have done the zoo by lunch.

Do not tell people to 'just drive to the zoo'. Regent's Park parking is limited and expensive. Name the nearest tube — Camden Town or Regent's Park — and a car park with a price if anyone is determined to bring a car.
Food and drink for the adults
One adult per child is the assumption, and they are not fed by the children's package. There is proper food on site. Say whether parents stay for the meal or only the walk.
Good to know
Admission is often extra on the cheaper room hire. Animal encounters are an add-on, not a promise, until they are written into the booking. Candles and cake need a yes from the events team.
