Greenacres Animal Park
Hawarden, Flintshire · CH5 2AZ
Greenacres, on the Welsh side of the border near Hawarden, runs birthday packages rather than leaving you to picnic between enclosures. The published shape is a walk of the park, indoor soft play for the under-elevens, an animal meet, and a children's meal from the café. It is built for about ten to thirty children. Chester and Flintshire families use it so they are not crossing the zoo's car park for a goat.
Park entry, a meal and an animal meet for roughly 10–30 children

On-site parking, CH5 2AZ. Say Hawarden or Deeside, not Chester, or the sat-nav will take the confident drivers to the wrong animal park.
Food and drink for the adults
Two adults with the birthday child have been included. Extra adults have been about £10. The children's meal is not lunch for you. The café is.
Good to know
Order the children's meals ahead, not at the hatch. Soft play has an age cap. Wellies still, because the meet-and-greet is not indoors.
