Blackpool Zoo publishes two different birthdays. The playbarn package is the wet-day one: two hours, buffet food, a reserved table, parking passes. The zoo explorer party is the one with animals, a host, games and entry, recently about £25 a child from age three, minimum ten. Pick the one you mean. A playbarn tea is not a walk to the elephants unless you bought that walk.

Food and drink for the adults
The playbarn holds a table for adults. Their food is not the children's buffet. On the explorer party, extra adults pay and that price is zoo entry, not a meal. Tell people.
Good to know
Private playbarn hire is an evening slot with a flat fee and a cap around thirty children. You bring the cake. Call or email the playbarn to book; it is not a silent online checkout for every package.
