Woodlands has run birthday parties for years: a themed room, a hot meal for the children, and the rest of the park to play in. It is one of the better south-west answers if you want more than a village hall and less than a national theme-park queue. Numbers in the party room are capped, so a huge class needs a conversation before you send invitations. The site is outdoors in spirit even with indoor bits — Devon weather comes too.

On-site parking. The lanes south of Totnes are not the M5. Anyone coming from Exeter should leave earlier than the map's blue line.
Food and drink for the adults
Packages have included adult entry for the supervising grown-ups, not a free roast dinner. The park has places to eat; use them, and tell parents the children's meal is not theirs.
Good to know
You can usually bring a cake. Mealtime is arranged when you book, not when you arrive hungry. Check peak versus off-peak pricing before you announce a number to the class.
