Tenpin's children's bowling party is a weekend package: a couple of hours on the lanes, pizza, squash, and someone else in charge of the balloon modelling. It is built for about four to thirteen, with laser tag and other party types in the same building at many centres. Toddlers will be happier at a farm. Romford's pin covers the east-London and Essex border. The Brewery and the retail parks are driveable; the A12 at 4pm is not theoretical.

Food and drink for the adults
Food for the children is pizza on the package. Adults can order from the main menu at most centres, and many sites are licensed — decide in advance whether this is a parents-stay-and-have-a-drink party or a drop-off. Other families may not want a bar crawl next to a seven-year-old.

The children's bowling package is the right link. Laser tag, karaoke and soft play are separate products on the Tenpin parties hub if bowling is not the brief. Weekend availability is the norm for the kids' package. Book the centre by name.
