Whipsnade will hand you Hullabazoo, the indoor play, for a private children's party on Saturdays and Sundays and some Fridays. It is a soft-play hire with a price for the session, not a keeper-led tour of the elephants. The published booking does not include entry to the zoo itself, so do not promise the lions unless you have bought zoo tickets as well. It suits toddlers and primary age who want a frame, a cake and a postcode parents already know.

Zoo car parks, LU6 2LF, off the B4540. Whipsnade is a village on a hill. The invitation needs the postcode, not 'near Dunstable'.

Food and drink for the adults

The hire is the play session. Adults are not on a party menu. If you have also bought zoo tickets, the cafés are in the zoo, which is a separate walk. Say which one you have booked.

Good to know

Read the private-hire times — they change with the season, from about 2pm in late autumn to 4pm in summer. Gold members have had a discount. A sleepover in the play exists as a different product. Do not mix the two up on the invitation.
